How to Clean Your Pram at Home

Leather Handlebar & Bumper Bar

  • Cleaning and conditioning of the leather is recommended only when needed to extend the life of the leather and contribute to the quality of its appearance.
  • Surface Dirt: Most surface dirt can be removed by gently wiping with a clean, damp cloth. Don't dry it in the sun.
  • Scuffs: Lightly rub scuffs with your fingers

Cleaning the Frame

  • Clean your stroller frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent; be sure to dry it thoroughly and don't use anything abrasives.
  • If parts of the stroller frame have been exposed to salt water, we recommend the parts are rinsed with fresh (tap) water as soon as possible to avoid corrosion.
  • Always be sure to dry the frame if it is wet.
  • Top tip: a magic eraser is a great tool to help remove the appearance of scratches and scuffs from the frame.

Maintaining the Frame

  • Be sure to not put any excess weight on the frame or handlebars (like using a clip to hang shopping bags), the stroller basket distributes the pressure on the stroller in a safer manner and prevents damage.
  • Noticing a squeak from your stroller frame? Try using a bit of oil / lubricant on the hinges of your stroller to keep it in tip-top condition.
  • Make sure you are folding your stroller correctly (especially the Vista!) to avoid scratches on the front bumper.

Cleaning the Fabrics

  • At our Hub, we use a mild, eco-spray cleaner and a steamer to treat stains in the fabrics.
  • The canopy, seat fabric and basket fabric can all be removed and machine washed for a deeper clean.
  • If you are machine washing your fabrics, they must be on a delicates wash with a low temperature and a mild detergent.
  • To dry your fabrics, lie flat and out of direct sunlight.
  • You can push the hard seat part of your Seat fabric (on the Vista) inside out to push out any crumbs.

Maintaining the Wheels

  • All wheels on your stroller can be removed. The best way to clean them is to take them all off and steep in the sink to remove any dirt.
  • To remove more stubborn dirt, give them a good scrub after they have been steeping
  • Make sure to hoover out any dirt and sand that may get into the part of the stroller frame where your wheels attach. Any debris present can hinder the performance of your wheels and brake.
  • After cleaning your wheels, pop a bit of oil/lubricant on the spokes of your wheels to keep them in good condition.
